Leire Escajedo San-Epifanio

PhD in Law (UPV/EHU, 2004) and PhD in Biological Sciences (UA 2015). With accredited experience in the participation and leadership of transdisciplinary teams, and undergraduate and postgraduate training in Psychology.

Trained at the Inter-University Chair in Law and the Human Genome (Dir. Carlos M. Romeo Casabona), 1996-2010. Leonardo Fellow of the BBVA Foundation (since 2015) and Research Award of the International Society of Bioethics – General Council of the Principality of Asturias (2006).

Professor of Constitutional Law (accredited CU), with 4 CNEAI sexenios, and Professor of Law and Ethics in Biosciences at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV/EHU (2008-2024). She directed the UPV/EHU’s Editorial Service (9th at the SPI ranking) and has postgraduate training in Editorial Management.

Igor Filibi

Igor Filibi (Bilbao, 1971) graduated in Political Science and Administration (1995) and Political Sociology (1997). His postgraduate training includes diplomas in European integration (1996) and in Constitutional Law and Political Science (Madrid, Centro de Estudios Constitucionales, 1997). He has supervised 6 doctoral theses.

Senior researcher in International Relations at the UPV/EHU, and has been a lecturer at the United Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) since 2007.

General Secretary of the Basque Council of the European Movement (EuroBasque).

Ainhoa Lasa López

Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law (UPV/EHU).  She has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Alicante (2015/2019), where she has held the position of Vice-Dean of Quality, Equality Policies and Coordinator of the Degree in Management and Public Administration (2016/2019), lecturer-tutor at the UNED (2014/2015).

Her research career has been recognised with two six-year research awards (CNEAI), the last one for the period 2014-2019.

Javier Uncetabarrenechea Larrabe

PhD in Political Science and Sociology. Speciality Political Science (UPV/EHU). He is currently Associate Professor of International Relations at the UPV/EHU.

His main lines of research focus on the study of the European integration process, international organisations and the relevance of the participation of actors from society and the private sector, mainly the corporate world, in global governance. He has been awarded the Universitas Landaburu prize by the Basque Council of the European Movement.

Former Director of the PhD Programme in International Studies and of the Official Master’s Degree in International Studies, both at the UPV/EHU.

Professor of Applied Economics.

Ixone Alonso Sanz

Degree in Business Administration and Management (UPV/EHU) and PhD in Economics.

Member of the Parte-Hartuz consolidated research group between 2013 and 2024, she is the author of several scientific articles in different lines of research (budget and public spending, place branding and educational innovation) and has participated in the organisation and as a speaker at various national and international events.
