
IkasAKTIV – R&D and Consultancy in teaching innovation
Presentation
Since 2010, the members of IkasAktiv have led research projects in educational innovation, carried out consultancy activities and given more than thirty lectures and training courses to teachers (STEM and CCSOCH) at different educational levels.
We are currently leading a Jean Monnet module of the Erasmus+ Call, PlantSciLaw – EU Law and Governance for Plant Scientists. Vid. PlantSciLaw.
And we are members of:
- the proposal Game4Youth – Social Innovations for the Upskilling of Vulnerable Youth, Especially Young People not in Employment, Education, or Training (finalist in the call ESF-SI-2023-SKILLS-01), led by Alytaus, Lithuania.
- The project Critical and Transformative University Convention. Inclusion of the ecosocial and ecofeminist approach in the University in the face of the climate and social crisis with food as a strategic axis of change (Spanish Agency for Development Cooperation, 2023-2026), led by Hegoa and Justicia alimentaria.
Advisory activities in the area of teaching and learning innovation
Our consultancy activities consist of:
- diagnoses of needs and opportunities for educational innovation;
- design of active learning tools adapted to different needs;
- accompanying teachers in the design and implementation of self-designed learning tools;
- support in the publication of results.
Training for primary, secondary, vocational training and university teachers
STEM and CCSOC teacher training in PREST-GARA (Basque Government) and FOPU (University of the Basque Country) programmes, as well as courses commissioned ad hoc by centres and entities. University and secondary education level, including Vocational Education and training (VET).
Subjects:
- The use of active methodologies in the classroom: theoretical aspects and practical implementation.
- Collaborative learning based on Challenges, Problems and Projects.
- Gamification of teaching-learning processes.
- The use of Simulations and Role Playing Games in University Teaching.
- The evaluation of teaching-learning through active methodologies.
