FEASTS is an innovative collaborative research programme that aims to provide a comprehensive and unbiased knowledge base on cultured meat and cultured seafood (CM/CSF) and its place in the food system.
Through cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder engagement, we employ a food systems thinking approach to help understand the role that cultured meat and seafood could play in a resilient, equitable and sustainable food system. (Coord. F. Ferreira).
The EuFrames team of the UPV/EHU (PR Leire Escajedo) leads the ‘WP5 – Food safety, nutrition and regulatory assessment’, in which 11 partners participate, and has been assigned the tasks: T5.1 Regulatory frameworks and T5.2 Food labelling. It also participates in task T4.2 Food ethics, justice and animal welfare.
