What we are doing at EU-FRAMES Research
Track record since 2019
EU-Frames Research approaches the processes of building innovative regulatory frameworks in the EU from a dynamic and transdisciplinary perspective, especially as they relate to disruptive scientific and technological developments.
EU-Frames’ track record since 2019 includes projects on regulatory frameworks for plant genetic resources and genebanks, advanced plant breeding techniques, in vitro meat production and biometric facial recognition using Artificial Intelligence.
Several commissioned and contracted projects have also been received on improving the legal framework for regions with legislative powers (R-LEGs) in the EU, research in educational innovation or the fight against food waste and poverty.



The economic constitution and the social dimension of the EU
European economic constitution: analysis and study of the articulation of political-economic relations in the European legal order, with special reference to the ongoing economic governance renewed in 2023.
Supranational social dimension: study of the configuration of social and employment policies in the European Union, with particular reference to the measures adopted in the fight against poverty and social exclusion.

Empowering people: equality, belonging, inclusion, caring for each other
Combating discrimination, social exclusion and all forms of violence.
Women and the European legal order: analysis of the sex-gender construction in EU law and of the legislation against violence against women.
