EU-Frames is a transdisciplinary Research Group at the University of the Basque Country

We address in a dynamic and transdisciplinary perspective the processes of building innovative regulatory frameworks in the EU, especially as they relate to disruptive scientific and technological developments, or to issues of particular complexity in the process of European integration.

In such processes, in a cross-cutting manner, we are particularly concerned with people’s rights, democracy, sustainability, inclusion and social justice.

We form EU-Frames, experts in Law, International Relations and Economics, with second qualifications in History, Sociology, Psychology and Biological Sciences.

Some of our projects and activities create collaborations and synergies with people from other disciplines (e.g. Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Engineering) and countries.

We have accredited experience in collaborative and transdisciplinary research projects in Horizon RIA, Jean Monnet (Erasmus+) and Ministry of Science and Innovation MICINN calls, as well as in University-Society calls and transfer agreements with different entities (public and private, including non-profit entities).
